car insurance for morocco help please!

hi I'm planning to drive down to morocco this fall though my insurance company (direct line) don't cover morocco on the green card I think this is also the case with most other english companies. It is only £20 getting through france and spain. I've heard that I will be able to purchase insurance on the border is this true and has anyone actually done this? any other info most welcome thanks.

I've had the same problem with Direct line although in the past (most recently 2 years ago) they DID provide Green Cards.
Have you any more information on buying insurance at the border? I'll post anything I find - I'm going in 2 weeks.
