Hey Crispo et al,

It looks like its going to be Sunday for me, Im having a night out on Sat so realistically its gonna be 11 before I'm down there! hope theres still some waves about!


Come over any say hi if you see someone flailing about on a white and red longboard .

yeah i was there between about half 5 and 8 and had a really good surf! were my eyes deceiving me or was joss ash in the lineup too?there was a guy absolutely ripping who looked a lot like him!

:shock: :shock: yeah he was,just checked photo :shock: :shock: fook me i didnt realise ,i lost count how many times he took the wave,i actually thought of sayin , come on mate let some of us have a go :roll: :roll: he was rippin :lol: ....you must have been near me then,i was in 5-8.30ish slappin around on a 7'8 blue fat boy.

Awwwwww...I made the call and went ot Cayton instead to try out my new 9.4 longboard.

I didnt feel like I had the right waves for my skills and a new long board, spent a lot of time going over the front!!

these waves look really nice .

hope you all had a great time out there.


ps any tips for knowing when you should go to cayton and when to go to south bay?

if south bay was like it was,i would go there every time.....if its to small go to cayton :roll: its all i do anyway :lol: tbh cayton looked big n messy.

do you know why the life boat was out at cayton point??about 7ish

maybe it saw me coming!! I arrived just after !!

maybe they heard tales of seeing a surfer panicking like a little girl as they get drawn out to sea by a rip (which may or may not be based on a true story)
