Camping in biarritz??

Postby pkittoe » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:13 pm

Hey,

Was wondering if anyone could recomend a campsite down near biarritz.

Just want something simple that wont be full of families really!

There will be about 10 of us and as hard as we try we often fail to impress the more family orientated campsites!

Hope you have some ideas!

Cheers

Been a few years since I've been there, and a bit further away from Biarritz, but there's a municipal camp ground at Estagnots, near Le Penon, which is cool, another nice one at Moliets that I've stayed at, and a bit inland, but not too far from the beach, and a real laid back set up, on a farm out the back of Soustons.

They are all nearer to Hossegor than Biarritz tho.

Hey,

been campin down there last year as well, forgot the name of the campsite though

But maybe a useful advice:
Check out the school holiday in france, and make sure you are heading there before then, or book waaaay in advance ;)
