Busted!

My parents get back from holiday tonight. They've been gone three weeks, and this is the first time since they started going on holiday without me (9 years) that I've abused the freedom and had a couple of parties. Have spent the last couple of days clearing up and I hope to hell that they take the ''we trust Jen'' attitude and don't look through the bins, cos this is what I've just chucked out:

48 x 330ml bottles of Heineken
43 x cans of Heineken, Grolsch, Fosters and Stella
22 x 1 litre bottles of Heineken
16 bottles of various red wine
12 bottles of various white wine
6 bottles of champagne

All empty obviously. The THREE glass bins are full to overflowing (still got about two weeks before collection), and the normal bin has one measly bin bag (don't eat at home so not much crap to chuck out). I'm not sure if thats a good or bad amount considering I've only actually spent about a week in the house, the rest of the time I've been on the boat. And the biggest ''party'' I had consisted of 6 of us watching the football on Tuesday lol.

Unfortunately they WILL be going in the kitchen, so they're still gonna see this lot in the fridge (see pic), the two boxes of Heineken that I couldn't fit in the fridge, two 1 litre bottles of vodka and the 15 bottles of wine on the counter (wine rack is still unbelievably full).

I don't know if they've had a good holiday, but I sure as hell have :twisted:

huh that's quite a bit, but I am quite sure your parents were exactly like you some time ago

but really that's a lot of beer and stuff =)

as long as nothing is borken, everything should be ok
your parents have to expect things like this to happen if they are 3 weeks away

I threw a party at my parents beach house when they were away.....all was cool till the fight broke out.
holes in drywall, dent in sink(smashed bottle), broken windows..i was cooked.
Jen you will be fine....as long as the cops didn't come, the neighbors like to spread that kind of news.

i used to throw parties for 50 + people at my house whenmy parents went on holiday. i remember having to get rid of 200+ bottles and cans etc and sort out various different bits of damage.
