My Cordell 5'11 18 1/4 2 1/4 just broke in half. I want to get' a really good small wave shortboard. Found a good deal on a flyer F al merrick. It's a 5'9''
18 1/2, 2 1/4 epoxy s core. I know jack crap about epoxy s core salomon boards. how do they perform? I weigh 145 and am 5'8''. this would be perfect dimensions for me if it were regular glass, but I've heard that epoxy tend to be more floaty.

those dims aren't really small for waves, are they?
All I can say is that those S core boards look cool and are light, touched one last year

Aren't Flyers usually in the 19 1/2+ 2 1/12+ territory with gnarly huge squash tails?

I tried to read up as much as I could before I ultimately settled on my MX (6.2 / 18.5 / 2.25) - things had definitely changed since I bought my last board maybe 9 years ago. I just ended up picking what felt best in my hand. No regrets.
