Buy a board in Dominican Republic??

Hi!
I´m going to spend 4 month working in Punta Cana, DR. Does anybody know if I can buy a board in this area?? Or maybe in the capital, Santo Domingo? I would prefer buying a board there and sell it before I leave...
Has anybody an idea about the possibilities to buy a board (around 6.8 ) in the Dominican Republic?

Cool that you are going to work in the DR. Don't forget to go to Cabarete for a weekend. Check out the spot Encuentro which is the most consistent spot on the Island. We have a couple of different breaks here and Encuentro is suited for all levels.
We have accommodation on Encuentro and sometimes David Duharte (my neighbor) makes boards for my clients. Prices are;
Everything up to 6'6 in white is 400US$
Add a color and pay 50US$ more.

For bigger boards I believe he charges 50US more also.
Like this you can have the shape you want. He also has a shop here in Cabarete where you can buy them off the shelve.

Brand is Duharte boards. Original from Miami and California.
