Surfspots near URI (Kingston Rhode Island, USA)?

Does anybody know the area, and could anyone tell me what/where is the closest/best beach in the near area? I ask because I am going to be up there in the next few days (probably on Wednesday) and there is supposed to be a bit of a swell...

Actually, if anyone could give me an idea of where to find beaches, or directions to beaches in the general RI area I would be most grateful!
