Hey, my name is Will, but I chose Tanner as my username because when i went to Kauai I had a surf instructor called Tanner and thought it was a cool name. I am 16 and from a nice little island called Jersey which a few of you may know about, I do surf from time to time and really like it, but not great at it. This easter i've gone a couple of times but I have to revise a lot for my GCSE's at the moment, but in the summer I really want to get into it because at the moment im not very good. I love music and i'm in a local band over here but also enjoy little acoustic songs.

Have never surfed and am looking to get out in the next hour? day? week? as soon as I can break away from the family.....
looking for advice on boards (long, short, big guy tri, foamie), lessons (necessary or not) and best spots to learn.
Bolsa Chica seems good.
Any other newbies out there that want to learn with me?

Hey, I'm Gordon, 19 and have been surfing for about 4 or 5 years. I learnt to surf in the european surfing heaven of Lanzarote and have just progressed from there. I live in Chester, but am at uni in Bangor, North Wales. So I spend most of my time down at Hell's Mouth, or trekking around Anglesey trying to find surf!

Hi Gordon, I'm Tereza, at first sorry my bad english;). How is Lanzarote? I was in Gran Canaria, but there wasn't lot of surfers, actually I didn't see no one  I heard something about surfing in Fuenteventura. I want to learn to surf, but I live in middle of Europe, so it is very complicated. Could you tell me more about surfing? Find the time for me, please. Of course if you don't want...;) Bye
