I was over Sat and Sunday kipped in the car park, got pissed in the Sun Inn.

Late Sat was small but surfable waist to chest. Sat was big and lumpy head and a bit and a paddle battle (even the rip in the corner didn't help much)

Jacked it in after a bit and dashed to the North Coast for a cleaner wave but it was small and shite.

Couldn't hang round till Monday as had commitments. Loads of us over from the East Coast who all say Sunday was an ok day.

I had a really nice couple of hours on Saturday evening and then again in sunday morning at Saunton

First time I've been out for ages and it felt great. The last time was in January and it really put me off for a bit cause i was rubbish. Reckon my snowboarding has helped my balance loads, not giving up on waves where i used to bale!

had a few epic sessions lately. last night was the best though. 3ft + and absolutely perfect at gennith last night. the waves peeled for ages. got some awesome rides on my fish. even half heartedly attempted an aerial but just ended up going about as far as my leash would let me up in the air.

Been out three times this week on hte waveski. Taking on 3-4ft dumpers and surviving. Having the beach to myself helps too! 2 hours each day, nice clear warm water. Good tubes as well

Was in HM car park overnight Sat. Couple of hours on North Coast and back on the road at HM in a little Red Clio. Took that instead of van to save on fuel.

Had to be back East by 7ish so left around half two before it improved, just my luck eh. Didn't appreciate texts from mates who were over till yesterday morning telling me how good it got. Especially on the reef. Gutted.

Just had an unexpectedly good session with small-medium clean waves, and a dry hair paddle out.

Only fly in the ointment was my leash coming off - not snapping, coming off - on my first knee high wave, and my board being rescued in the shore dump by a beginner girl on a foamie

just back from a week down croyde.good session a week last saturday at croyde (pushin up to high tide) ,got my first proper floater re-entry.it then died of for a few days.last thursday and friday i did the earl sessions at low tide and although i had a few decent rides i dont think i've took as many heavy wipeouts, especially on the friday,in one session.
yesterday(saturday)i went to saunton and although the surf wasn't up to much the glassy sea,low mist ,sheep bleatin away   ,made for a good chill out before the drive home.

Undertow t the River mouth tody was a bugger. good 3-4ft sets coming though after wait but nightmare to get into them. Even taking them late was un-makeable because the berm is so large t the moment its slamming down with force. got boshed lot today :p

After yesterdays frustration at the river mouth I opted for the "Blinn" it was barely working but as it was only me out I thought why not.

Long waits between the sets thats set the inside slab off but they were linking up with the cove really well so was worth it :) Round 2ft hollow take off into wedging shoulder tht peels into he cove ripe for ripping reverses and rolls.
