Surfing Waves UK New Years meet ?!

Was thinking about what to do you new yars and over xmas etc..

How about we all do a new years surf meet somewhere?

I'll be down on the coast as always not quite sure where on the SW coast yet tho...

Whats everyone else up to?

Unfortunatley i will be stuck in deepest darkest northumberland with no hope of getting out until my student loan comes in in January

Or in Norwich, my work contract here doesnt end til 31st december so could be stuck in a station for new year.....

still reckon its a neat idea tho

i was up for that . untill remmberd im in manchester for the cristmas/new year break :cry:

but i think its still a top idea ,but you could always go that one step futher and have a internatinal meet up in one of our freindly warm waterd nebouring countries ,if any of us had the money or the time ,which i doubt a little ah well just an idea :wink:

New years eve day we should be there or surfing in the area somwhere then a bender at night of course! and hanging around for a dip the next day somwhere.

im not sure what im doing yet but ill be around devon and defantly up for a new years day surf no mater the conditions perfect hangover cure as well

dout ill be able to make it down to cornwall though

I wanted to spend some time away from Wooly for a bit. I don't want to ruin it for myself. All good and well but too much of anythign gets a bit much.

Tho I will be getting a few combesgate sessions in over xmas for deffo.

eh just like to tell all you planning this trip for new years if you do go to st ives there is a mad beach party and parties all through the night which are supposed to be a good laugh (ive never been but im hearing this quite alot,since i moved here ) except im goin to manchester over new years so i manage to miss all the parties down here, just somat that may help your decision .

Hey all ! ... " Happy New Year "

... i didnt make it to the sea on new years day but got to wollacombe the day after ! .. no one else in the liquid , it was blowing a gale so we kinda got shot'blasted on the way up the beach ..and the waves ..well lets say rips were the order of the day

.. but me and my bro' lewis went in for 15mins ... i only had my shorty on so that was about all i could take before the pain cut in !! ... ha .. i laugh in the face of winter !! ..and then it laughed back as i had to get four of my friends to prise me outta my shorty .. most embarrasing ,, lost the feeling in my hands completely for an hour ... But hell it was worth it ... then across the road for a Jd' or three and all was well ;0)) ..

nah i was hoping to go to puts new years day but spent most of it in bed recorving from a stinking hangover
