Any recommendations for local shaper?

Postby Big_T » Fri May 02, 2008 8:00 pm

Alright, I finally put some money aside for a new surfboard. Any recommendations on any local shaper around the newport or huntington beach area?

I currently own a 7'10" funboard, 6'8" CI flyer, 6'4" gun and a 5'10" shortie. Its been a few years since my last board purchase and I am looking for something for the small choppy surf down here and I am jealous seeing all these groms launching off of their new boards!!! I am about 5'8" & 125lbs. any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

merrick biscuit or fishcuit, two sick boards for small waves+
off the rack though, but i'm sure there'll be a shaper good enough to magic up something similar if you want it custom?

There's a really good shaper whose name evades me at the moment. His shop is on 5th street and he has a tear drop graphic on his boards. Just ask around and locals will point in in the right direction.
