Adelaide Surfers? Want to learn (keen)

Is there anyone here from Adelaide? Me and my mate are eagle to learn surfing but donno where to start. Does anyone go down to beach this weekend? Keen to meet up. But hope you dont mind the beginners, who dont really know anything much about surfing.

My aunt lives in Adelade, but she doesn't surf.
Just go to the beach and learn everything on this site (check out the learn to surf section on the site). It might be a good idea to get a surf lesson in, hopefully one that will teach you basic surf ettiquette. But there is basically two really important things to remember, don't go in surf to big for you, and don't drop in, then you will be fine, even without someone to guide you through everything. Just try and chat with the people there, then you should have no problems.

My Gran lives in Adelade and she don't surf either :lol:
