ok, so i can surf down the line and on good days i can do small turns but i have terrible stye, my stance is realy streached and i find it realy hard too turn. any advice?

It comes with practice. If you're waving your arms around and trying not to fall off, then you'll never have it. You need to be relaxed and confident, that's only going to happen once you can surf OK.

There's no excuse for a poo stance tho - it won't help your surfing for starters, your board won't plane or turn properly. You need to get that sorted before you worry about other stuff - practice getting to your feet a lot.

wider stance = more stability but less turning capacity. Your best bet is to go out and practise like crazy you will get it sorted. Best advice i ever got was........... "observe, think, and do" ......... basically meaning watch other surfers and video clips alike, imagine yourself doing it, then go out and do it :D
