Hope to get out this Friday

Magic Seeweed just upgraded Deleware and MD shores to 3 & 4 stars ratings for this Friday...looking at 4-5 ft. and about 12-14 sec intervals. Trying out my new board for 1st time as well. I'm hoping for 4 footers personally since I'm not that skilled/experienced plus I have my very own board finally and don't want to smash it up the 1st time out.

I'm getting in the water about 5 weeks sooner than expected. I have a pretty old/worn out O'Neil 3/2 full suit but will wear a full sleave rashy underneath, gloves, boots and a hood. The coldest water I've been in my 3/2 (without any accessories) was 61 F degrees and I was pretty darn cold and only lasted about 45 minutes in the water (my feet were the coldest). Do you guys think I should be ok or will I freeze? Air temp expected in the 60's and sunny. Should be a beautiful day.

sure give it a go... from the sound of it you don't have much of a choice! lookin c**p here for the weekend. gonna get withdrawl. if we had those waves here and i had no choice i'd go out there naked!
