Thromback,
Very cool and thanks for sharing. Have not lived in that region of the US for close to 25 years so it was fun to see.

Nice pics,

Not sure if you know but if you upload your pictures to the main site while logged on they are added to your own gallery.

Take a look when you have some time.

Spent easter surfing Snapper, Greenmount and D'bah. Here's a couple.

Snapper locals have it pretty bad. Sooooo many inexperienced surfers out for the Sat arvo session. There were guys bailing out, dropping in, going backwards upside down and over the falls.
You could crank some awsome turns just trying to dodge em all...

This was Friday arvo... Not much swell but some good sections.

Dbah was the go. Way less crowds and som good barrels at low tide.
If you dont like sucky take offs, dont surf dbah at low tide on a Nth East swell...

Nice pics ANZAC. It reminded me of when my husband and I visited the Gold Coast last year. Wish I had gotten to surf those spots while I was there. We didn't have a car so we just surfed the beach breaks at Surfer's Paradise and caught the bus to look at Snapper Rock, Kirra, Dbah (can't spell it). Will definitely have to make another trip out there again one of these years.

Hey... thanks SWGC!
Yeah, Surfers is a good spot. If you guys come back, you need to try and look at the Tweed Heads area. Only reason I say that is because Tweed, is the state border town for Queensland and New South Wales. By making this area your base, its not too much effort to get the best of both states. Some awsome waves and tourist spots everywhere from Byron in NSW nth to Tweed Heads and from Surfers Paradise QLD sth to Tweed Heads.
I had a pretty good time up there and made some good conections for possible sponsorship if I decide to relocate. The weather is warm, the water is warm, the cost of living is cheaper.... Mmmmm I really did have a good time.
We have the regional titles coming up, here in Wollongong, in May. After that, Im headed back up to Tweed Heads for a 1 week advanced training camp with Surfing Australia. If I can get the right job, I might stay up there.
