Na Libby. Why I'm old enough to be your father...39!!!
Nothing fartherly about me. Unless you consider my four fiberglass children, they all have these weird fins poking out of their bottoms and they're all pale & fat. Some are taller than me & some are shorter, they also have these weird tails with this sticky stuff called velcro on the ends. Odd that.

Who, pray tell, is "Tom Bombaldi", sounds dodgy to me young lady.

Tom Bombadil is a character out of Lord of the Rings hes very mysterious and its suggested that hes as old as time. Hence the New Zealand thang, hope it makes more sense now! (probs not)

Nah my dads REALLY old, hes 61, bless him.

As for your children they sounds beautiful, if any of them misbehave then send them over to England and i'll adopt them and feed them raw spaghetti and board wax.

Must get more sleep, i think I may actually be cracking up

:?

Ps read Lord of the Rings im no dungeons and dragons fan but I still love it

Oh, now I understand....I intend to be the only Kiwi who has never seen any LOTR movies. Wouldn't know anything about them. Ignorance is bliss...

Never saw Titanic either :-)

Ok I shall.
Dear-me, I hope this doesn't mean I'll be turning into a Dungi & Dragon game/fantasy geek fiend, with bad sideburns & unwashed jeans snivelling about the place all day long.

God knows there is enough of then here already now...thanks to those bloody movies...Peter Jackson's no oil-painting either...

see ya

You'll get thrown out of the country for saying that.

Libby!!
Give me time. I'm halfway through the new Douglas Coupland Novel "Eleanor Rigby" at the mo, following that I have two Virginia Woolf's to read, "To the Lighthouse" & "The Waves" (ironically). I promise, once I have finished with my Woolf thingie and I'm in dire need of a good laugh I'll pick up the LOTR copy currently sitting beside my bed.. It'll be my Christmas read....I promise! I'll sit inside & get really pale, grease my hair like a good dungie & dragie, wear dirty black jeans and not leave my study till it's done. To hell with surfing....

Actually, for a postmodern lass like yourself I do suggest you try some Coupland.

Has anybody else read him?
