My poor car!!!

Postby southeast-sponger » Sun Mar 23, 2008 10:39 pm

I got my new car just after christmas. Exactly 1 week after i picked my car up, someone drove into the back of it at a roundabout!!!! I just get that fixed then after 1 1/2 months someone drove into it in a car park!!!!! leaving a lovely big dent over the wheel arch! And then just drove off, without leaving a note or anything! WHY ME

 What should i do? Am I the only one, or has this happened to anyone else?

someone i worked with annonymously drove into mine a few years ago, left a huge dent which i've never been able to afford to fix. can't believe people can do that and not own up... you have my sympathy.

^^agree totally... when you've got a old banger its easy to make drivers of nice cars very nervous. little bit of erratic driving or popping the reverse light on when being tailgated (only be done in some cars without droppin the gear box onto the road).

That is infuriating..but a sign of the times i'm afraid. I've got 3 long key scratches down the sides of my car...they appeared on different occasions over the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure it's the kids that walk up and down the street in the evenings, because i can't think of anyone i've p'd off...it's well annoying.

sucks.... would love to have seen the face on the guy if he'd been caught!

on the other side of the coin.... found a note on my window one day last year apologising for damage done to my car by someone reversing. checked and checked but couldn't for the life of me find any damage. rang em to thank em for their honesty. good to know there are still some decent people out there!

I had my new car keyed within a few weeks of getting it, and then again and then again. I havent bother to get it fixed as I figured it would just happen again - hasnt happened since but I bet it would if I even sorted it
