guys...Matt Adams boards are way better options than the generic mass produced Al Merrick boards we get in the UK. Matt Adams has actually shaped his boards by hand in the UK... so support your UK shapers... the £600 imported boards that seem to sell all over the UK are not better than the £400 boards shaped by Adams. The British pro's that have used Adams do so because they are the best boards.... people think more expensive is better..whereas you've just paid extra for it to be shipped from Thailand.

So how does it ride? My shaper made one for himself but I'm not sure if the concave was that deep, totally interested in how you think it rides compared to your old board

Most of the better known UK shapers now machine their blanks and then finish them by hand which is exactly the same as CI/AM. Channel Island boards are machined and glassed in France.
Theirs nothing 'generic or mass produced' about some of the shapes Merrick has made, you seen some of the stuff he's been working on with Slater and Reynolds?

Although I'd never pay £600 for a board I think its good seeing some of these boards in the UK. Different kettle of fish compared to the Surftech crap that was flooding in the country from China a couple years ago.
