Can boards real be this cheap?

Hay all

Are things really so ridiculously cheap in the USA. I mean a 6.9” Haun board going for $9.99 USD!!! Are they serious? Here in South Africa, the cheapest good board will go for at least R700. Thats about $100 USD. I saw it at this site here: http://auction.bidthenbuy.com/Surfing_Wind_Surfing-Sporting_Goods-22709-382-2.html

Could any one tell me if this is for real or if this is a joke? My cousin is goin to the US at the beginning of December so if this is jenuan, he will have to get me a board. I gess my next question would be, bout taking a board on the plain. Would you have to pay extra for if?

I am the owner of Phase One Surfboards here in California and
I can assure you no board can be made and sold for $10. I sell my boards for a great deal but belive me $10 impossible. All my boards are hand shaped and glassed and $10 is not even 10% of the material cost not to mention time and skill spent to make a board.

probably a con, i got an email form someone saying they will sell my shortboard for me, paying all advert fee's, the scary thing is how do they know i wanna sell it! the only person i have told is my gf as i need the money, maybe there is a camera in my room......
