Does anyone have an opinion on Indo Boards and if they help/hurt your surfing?

Yes, they help if you cant regularly get to the water.

They improve your balance, stability, and strength in your knees/thighs.
Obviously not as good as surfing, but still well worth getting.

Oh, and they're fun too :D

yep - mine improved my balance so much it was well worth it - i didn't realise just how much it would help till i spent about 4 weeks on it regularly and then went surfing... it was incredible, I stayed on my board for so much longer and didn't wobble as much. a miracle!

like dbbb said, they're great fun too. you can watch telly or chat on the phone at the same time!

can't use mine at the moment though :(

* edit * wrong name sorry! I'm not seeing straight due to strong doses of oral morphine so i have an excuse - soz essex! you could have said that though!

it's not so much fun anymore though :( i'm actually starting to dislike not thinking straight and long for a clear head!

i've been sat looking at my indo board since seeing this topic. it's such a shame it's not getting much use right now. my housemate had a go recently, thinking he'd be great, and almost broke hs ankle!!! it was really funny to watch
