This was the view from my apartment this morning...

Sunny, clean swell lines, offshore winds...


...and then I faff about until 4pm before I get in and its a hideous onshore mess :bang:

No its much uglier than New Zealand, they wouldnt let him in there so he went to the poor mans version of NZ, otherwise known an Australia. Bless him, you have to feel sorry for him really.

Its true, I look out my window of a morning and weep at all the things I left behind.... (8 degree C water, 4hour drive to the beach, 1ft windswell etc etc)

Sadly there's some truth in that!
It was well overhead at maroubra and very busy, so I thought I'd wait til it dropped off a little... which it did... just as the wind picked up :roll:

Should have come down to cronulla. Wasn't too wind-chopped where i was yesterday afternoon. Sure i surfed like rubbish, but the waves were fine!

sweet man, is the surf much different to back home? obviously the weather is consistently warmer etc. also whats the place like as a whole where you live, are there consistent waves etc?
