How can I get my grandmother off my back and let me surf?

Have a chat about any general surfing related topics.

Well said Hang11!!!! Lmao, Nice touch!

Anyways, I reckon you should tell them that even if you were to drown, what the heck could your granddad to to stop it! By the time he swims out there to rescue you, the chances are somebody has already dragged your ass in, or your long gone! Just hit the with the logical reasoning! And if that doesn't work, cry!

Hang 11 i didn't say they were the worst years of your life ... or mine for that matter. actually college was prob the best years. kinda the best of both worlds old enough to drink not old enough to worry about the consequences. This lad clearly has problems (not sure exactly of the nature of them). Dec fairly on the money tho. what's your grandad gonna do seein as how he can't swim. either way you should be lying on a couch telling someone about this faf. maybe you could call child services and tell them your folks have been molesting you or something. they can't stop you surfing from prison.

I went to see a psychologist who also surfs with me, and she actually listens to him. (probably because he studied at university for 8 years) So now I can finally sirf withou my grandfather watching my back all day, but she still thinks I smoke weed when I surf becuse of my red eyes and the big smile on my face.

Not all life's answers can be found on the internet and sometimes part of growing up is being able to figure them out for yourself.

The fact that you have to ask on here is perhaps precisely WHY you can't be left on your own...........and getting all smart mouthed prior to puberty kicking in won't get you any extra points either and is another example of why you need supervision

Dude, I am 14 (15 in a few months), not 10, besides, there is 10 year olds who can surf without there parents looking at them all the time, I tried talking to them but they won't listen at all, it is an issue that I have had problems with for some time, and no matter what I say they will not sit for 5 minutes and listen, sometimes I just want to get some advice, but it seems people just don't listen at all, they just judge, al I want is to have a good time without being followed or watched all the time.

thats pretty dumb... im 15 too.. but i get rides from my friend when i can...cant you? i mean if you go with your friends you dont need your grandpa.... i dunno but.. my mom and dad doesnt really care ... they just tell me to be careful... but then maybe its cuz i get all As and then they give me some freedoms.. i dont think anyone can tell you what to do with your grand parents.. nvm.. i guess you solved your problem..
