When I was 14 I was really getting into skateboarding. I saving up money mowing my uncle's lawn all summer and was able to buy a $200 skateboard by summer's end (this was around 1985-1986...I love being old!).

Damn I skate alot, almost as much as I surf, but right now I can't skate, my board is broken, and damn skating is expensive, a deck snaps in like a month or two, $60, shoes last like 2 months, $80, that is like about $70 per month atleast (and that is not even counting trucks, wheels, bearings and shoe laces(it can add up, you have to buy a pair of laces every 2-3 days.)), hell no, it is to expensive, but now that I surf my skating time is less than a quater of what it was, meaning I don't have to pay my @$$ off all the time.

It has to be made out of granite or something to be indestructable, I am 6'2" and almost 90kg (got no idea what that is in pounds), I break a board with one whrong landing.

reckon you'd make more washing and waxing cars... much bigger market.. used to do it when i was 8ish in supermarket car parks... catch them as they're parking and have it finished by the time they come back. guys... seriously i'd give the kid a break he's like 14 and 6'2". he's a giant with adolescent hormones.. there's no telling what he's capable of.
