What board for thick ledgy waves

All surfing hardware topics here. Boards, leashes, racks, wetsuits, boardies, surfgear, ding repair, wetsuit repair, surf wax...... you get the idea

Man, you guys should definitely colaborate on a board. That would be cool. :) You could probably put together some pretty cool ones... and you'd both benefit off the experience.

Wish I knew some shapers that would give me pointers. Everything I have learned has been fron finding stuff to read. I haven't had anyone to show me crap.

props for that. Im the type of person that has to visualise something i couldnt read it then do it another thing i have found is that the net has waaaay to many contradictions.

Though, I wasn't saying it to brag. I wish I had people to talk to and get pointers from. I already had what I wanted to do in my head but I needed to see how the tools were being used to accomplish the end result.

Yeah, seeing it is definitely helpful over reading.. You can only rationalize so much before you need to see it done.

I read a whole lot about how to surf before I actually did it. Finally learned the most about how to surf when I was doing it and watching surf films. Actually, I think I really started picking it up watching live webcasts of contests. That way I could see all the preparation, paddle into wave, all that aspect.

I wonder if they have any board shaping vid's out there for you to check out too.
