i just got addicted after playing rock band at a friends house. so much for graduating this semester hah

yep my buddy is an outstanding guitartist - plays in several bands and works in several professional studios.

He sucks at the game :lol:

(however he sticks his amp on and rocks in unison with someone who is good t the game pretty cool to watch) But its no suprise as the game requires zero guitar skill. The only thing the game will help with is timing but if timing is not an issue in the first place i dont see the point.

Still adds a whole new dimention on the whole air guitar thing :lol:

But if you do play a guitar then its just a gimmick youd be better off practising on the real thing.

i guess its guitar hero 2 then.

i dont really care about real guitar. its jsut not fun to me. im not trying to be a rockstar or something. i used to play the drums if that gets me any 'rights of passage' it was fun but too loud and expensive and hot. isnt that why you play, for fun? i dont care if the elders think i am rotting my brain.

my friend loves both.

i can play drums and when i played it on rock band i loved that too.
