TDF Epoxy 9' Boards

Postby Anomac » Fri Feb 01, 2008 6:45 am

Hi All,

My first post.

I am lucky enough to be living in Bali. Mornings I am surfing with a crew of expats at a place called Canggu.

A couple of them picked up a new board each. Neither knows where they are from and there are no more. Well they swear by them. And these are not nipper surfers. In fact Phil made boards back in Oz for years.
TDF is the logo on the deck. And underneath there is an X Generation Logo.

They are 9 foot epoxy jobs. I have googled the name and I get some guy in California and another in LA with one listed on Craigslist.

If someone can shed some light on where they are from (China I am thinking) or how I can contact the manufacturer, I would be greatly appreciative.

Peace.

It is probably all those things and more. However, the truth is it works. And I am not one to get into the philosophy of what when the how is happening.

And tne reality is, if they are only US$250 then I can afford to add one to my quiver. At that price I can afford two!

So no one knows where these boards come from? Who to contact?

<edit>. They are made in China but we have had no quality issues as described above.

I don't like any of the molded epoxy boards, not tuflite, not nsp, none of em, but man they are durable, which is why I have one for the kids and a tuflite as a loaner board. I've had newbs drop them from the surf rack on the car and all they get is a scratch. I have a buddy that has a phase1 epoxy longboad and has had it for 6 years, only has a few scratches.

Here is their website:
