How is this wonderful existance you have being financed? Inheritance? Business owner (others doing work for you...while you just get paychecks sent to Costa Rica)? Investments? Is the wife off working somewhere else making a boatload of money while you'll get to surf all day and buy flip/flops? If its legal...I need to know how I can get this lifestyle you've got (living in tropical paradise...married w/ kids and a dog to support).

see .. what you have missed there is the key information at the end of the post
At least until the wife shows up in a month
..he failed to mention that his poor wife has been working 24/7 in some cloth printing facility in Bangleedesh just to fund his lifestyle

Shame on you Jethro ... (pssst) am i still good for that shipment of rugs ?!

Man, I knew I was neglecting the forum but holy Cow!! I'm only 5 months late on this post.

Just to fill you in, decided that I wanted more outta life than work my ass off constantly and that I was spending way too much on shite i didn't need, so I dissolved my business, sold everything, and moved to CR. Wife worked until September, she's here now too. Don't get to surf as much anymore, but the evening's are more interesting with her around.

So now I am just trying to get down to the surf twice a week and waiting for Kitesurfer to come on my "Check out every Pacific surf spot in CR in 2 weeks" tour in May.

Please, please, please, please, please.........

Oh, and I finally got that bunch of handtied rugs in for you in September, they are waiting for pickup next time you pop through.....

Oh you heard your name!!

Christmas was good, surfed in 33 degree weather and broke my board.
But I got a new one yesterday from Carton, that shaper in Jaco we stopped at. 7'3" pintail, shortboard style but with a little more thickness in the middle to, ah, "accomodate" my little extra, er, thickness in the middle. Will ge a pic of it up here in the next day.

Surfed MalPais all last week. Started out head an a half, by the time I got in the water it was chest high or smaller. Probably a good thing for me. Anyways, I checked out some new locales near Santa Theresa, a right point that was barrelling sweet. And of course, no battery for the camera.

I can hardly wait for May/June!!!

Hope your knee checkup goes alright for ya and it all looks good for whatever needs to be done. Hope christmas and new years was rockin' for you and the person you were with.
