Moving to Sydney, require ozzie tips!

Postby floater_jay » Thu Jan 10, 2008 6:02 pm

Hey, I'm making the move to Sydney in february.
I will be there for the first few months at least and it would be great if you guys could tell me where's the best, and the least crowded spots around there?

Also I'm buying a 2nd hand board over there because it was too expensive to bring mine through all the flights.
Any advice on where I might get good bargain would be greatly appreciated.

Any good surf hangouts worth mentioning to me?
Im looking to get a job in a bar too.
Cheers guys, cant wait to be living in australia!
Fair dinkum :?:

Good thing abotu Australia is if your getting roasted at 40degrees+ and it hasnt rained for years you can move somwhere it'll be flooded. and hot.

Oh that and all the wildlife wants to kill you, and has the means.

DBB seams to have settled in fairly well...
I wouldn't be too worried about getting set up over here.
There's a fair bit of backpacker and temp work Just head East and there's a surfshop in front of nearly every beach here...
Ebay is fairly good here too.
The invo' is out for anyone headed just south of Sydney... Plenty of good spots.

Ohh, and please dont say "fair dinkum"....lol
