Goddamn it, so cold to go surf right now. Last surf session I was shivelling like a chihuahua with no fur. Damn it, I can't wait for summer. But summer is a b1tch too! Bunch of crowds with black ball that doesn't allow much spot for surfers! Damn it, this winter feels like forever!

Hey pkbum, I've got some sympathy for you man. I've been surfing in So Cal for the past three years and I still don't like the cold. I'm just a wimp when it comes to the cold. Lately, I've been surfing at Newport Beach Pier with booties and sometimes with gloves too. About two or three Saturdays ago, the waves were glassy and about oh+, I could only stayed for three hours until I couldn't feel my teeth anymore.

But knowing other surfers, who surf colder water than I do, it makes me appreciate what I have here in So Cal.

That's not cold mate!

It's cold when you are shivering before you get in the water and not only do you need boots and gloves but a hood too. This is what we wear for most of the season in Scotland!

haha when i goto san diego in the winter time, its still warmer than my beaches in the summer time haha.
