drainage hole in my wetsuit?

so i just got a West wetsuit, and there is a little hole undter the zipper that goes straight into the wetsuit. the guy said it was a drainage hole. Is that normal for a winter wetsuit to have a drainage hole?

Normally there'll be an inner skin behind the zip so any water that makes it past the zip flushes out of the drain hole.

Mine has one also. I would say if it is a hole that goes all the way through to your skin there is something wrong.

meant to be there, its for letting water out from the bottom of the zip, not sure how to explain but its true
