Postby Phil » Sat Oct 16, 2004 11:11 pm

anyone ever done this its hard to know what to do with your keys when you go off for a surf the other day at saunton i ended up shuting the boot with them in there lol and me still in a wet wetsuit (yes go on laugh) i am now looking back at it, couldnt have been a better day for it either 7C out side moderate westerly winds and heavy rain lol

how many of you have done this come on be honest this is actully my second time the first one wasnt my fault though gave the keys to a friend while i went to get some food and he locked them in the boot lol

haha I did that recently.

Our truck has auto locks, so when I left one door unlocked, and put teh keys in, it locked em in. It was good surf, but since it was a holiday I had to wait for like forever for someone to come unlock it.

got my stuff ripped from the beach once last year, so now i always lock all my stuff in the car and take my key with me. put the key on a thick string around my neck and tuck it into my wetsuit - works great, and never loose it. i dont trust the key pockets in wetsuits.

Deffo not cool really. Had to find a phone box, reverse the charges and get my mum to come and pick me up. Got the car back 2 days later not trashed but stuff missing - money, jacket, tapes.
