What are the best tides for surfing?

Postby ecoastgirl » Tue Jun 15, 2004 11:07 pm

I am new to surfing and am wondering what tide is the best... should you go at a certain time... like when it's changing from low to high or something? Thanks!

for most powerful and biggest waves of the day its best to go in when the tide is going up but it also depends on the beach and conditions.
