forehand cutback

Postby surferdude_scarborough » Mon Jan 21, 2008 1:40 am

hey all

im having issues with cutting back on my forehand. i just cant seem to get it right for some reason. ive watched all the tricks and tips videos in the sticky so i know what im supposed to be doing but every time i go for one i come off my board. usually about 3/4 of the way through the first part ( turing back towards the whitewater) im fine with backhand cutbacks n some other simple manoevres n stuff. just wondering if anyone has any tips on what i might be doing wrong so i can nail them in future.

cheers, James

sounds like you are not shifting your weight correctly hence the loss of balance. Barely being able to do forhand cutbacks myself thats what i have found to be the problem.
