Exercises or Something!

Postby Hayoe » Sat Jan 05, 2008 4:08 pm

I don't think a question like this has been posted before but soz if it has.

I really want to start surfing but I live no where near the sea. I'm planning to make a few trips down to Newquay in the summer to start but I was wondering if anyone knew any exercises or something I could do to get ready and make it easier for me to start :?:

Thanks! :o

press ups, snake press, swimming for sure. doing abdominal exercises won't hurt, and any cardio vascular exercise should be good too

Ya a skateboard would help alot. Downhill longboarding is great fun :D

Some basic yoga positions are really good too, also helps alot with flexability.
Dont bother with classes or anything just picked up some basic gidelines off the web. Def makes a difference

By the way whats a snake press? :?
