Shop forgot my order - What to do next?

Postby Farno » Tue Jul 31, 2007 8:47 am

I ordered my first board Friday. The girl that took my order did struggle to add the price of postage to my order but after i check my bank on Moday i found that they hadnt taken the money out. I phoned the shop and they cant find my order and was told the boss would phone me back in 10-15 mins. i waited in the rest of the day for the phone call.....it never came. He still hasnt phoned today.

So i've started to look about for other boards and found this on EBAY

Now as a learner will a glass board be too fragile? I origionaly ordered a NSP with bag.

Or do i phone the shop as mistakes happen and get them to send my order again?

Looks pretty sweet.
You should be fine on that. But, yes, it will be more fragile. Nothing to worry about though - just dont ride it into the sand softboard-stylee.

And also its a bit of a gamble ordering a board you've never seen/touched/got feedback about. But if I had the choice between that and the NSP... I'd go with the custom.

With regards to the shop you should go with your gut feeling. If they've already lost your order at this early stage myself i certainly would be looking elsewhere to get a board.
