Farewell black and blue nail.

Postby drowningbitbybit » Tue Jun 19, 2007 12:58 pm

In january this year, I was surfing at Putts (Devon UK). It was freezing cold, the surf was a mess, I was too cold to surf properly, I was on my own... I was not having a good time.

Back in the car park, I slammed my frozen thumb in the van door. It was fleshin' agony. That was it, I was going home... with a very sore thumb.

Over the next day or two my thumbnail went from red to blue to purple to black

And remained that way. I grew to love my black thumbnail. I could tell my left from my right. We became good friends.

But now, a mere five and a bit months later, the last of the black bit has finally gone... farewell black and blue nail... *sob*
