Cornwall public transport

Might be going for a job up in bodmin which means relocating. Was wondering from any locals here what the public transport is like from here...do they let you take your surfboard on buses...are the buses frequent and accessible?

As far as I know (unless things have chaged) the "First" bus group don't let boards on the busses. However there are a number of private companies opporating.

Also... I now live just south of Bodmin. For some fuel dosh your welcome to jump in if I got space.
