Oregon forest fire smoke - surf anyway?

Hello fellow Oregon surfers, I was planning to surf Otter Rock or Agate tomorrow - but as of yesterday evening, the air here in Eugene is full of smoke from forest fires and it’s difficult to breathe outdoors. How is the air in Newport? Are you surfing despite the smoke? Thanks.
