With my local "closed to visitors for duration of pandemic" I'm spending more time on my long skateboard. It's not as much fun as sliding on the water but there is stoke to be had riding hills with light traffic and friendly neighbors (so far) I carve the steeper slopes, pump through the flats and Coleman slide to shutdown when something gets in the way.
A downside is that I'm getting too used to weighting my front front and kicking out the back one when turning. The new muscle memory will not serve me well on a surfboard! Another problem is that I'm afraid of wiping out on rocks and actually spend time sweeping the big ones off the road before starting a run.

Anyone else skating?
