Surftech woody identification

Postby Grumpysurfer » Wed Jun 12, 2019 4:18 am

Greetings everyone, I stumbled across this forum while trying to find some history and specs on my new to me Surftech Woody. I’m stoked with the way it surfs and happy with my purchase but hoped to learn more about it. If anyone can enlighten me about this board I would greatly appreciate it. Not looking for a pop out vs hand shaped argument just some real information on this board. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That is based off the Randy French HP model.
The board is molded-Epoxy construction, but the top gloss layer is polyester resin.
From what I remember, Kevin Miske built the wood nose and tail blocks. Maybe if you're in California, you can ask him.
I can ask around for what year it is, but from the logo it's one of the first years.
