Can someone explain why the tide is like this?

East Coast

East coast tide looks consistent with the peak and trough.

West Coast

West coast have a small low tide then another super low tide later on.

sure, dynamical effects combine with the bathymetry to create higher frequency tidal harmonics that interact with the primary tidal forces to create these more complex tides.

Oh I thought this is just a thing in West coast. I've not seen anything as extreme as this and I spend a lot of time looking at the tide/forecast.
