Ocean & Earth Wax Remover

Postby DopeMachine » Sat Apr 01, 2017 11:17 am

Hey!

New user from Northern NSW, thanks for having me.

At this time, I have one question.

At the title suggests, I'm curious about Ocean & Earths Wax Remover.

It works great, but what is it!!? Its been driving me insane.. It's normal glass cleaner or some other common household cleaner. I'm 100% sure of it and I can't think what it is. I've smelt the exact smell many times in the past. Others say the same. We just cant put two and two together.

I apologise that I can't just be happy with their small $15 bottle but I'm sure it's some household cleaner I could buy from the shops for $4 at 5 times the size. I urge you to give it a sniff or head to your local surf shop and get some for a re-wax. You'll see what I'm talking about when ya smell it.

Cheers

Since you haven't been washed away , I'll look into it as Ocean and Earth, HQ is nearby.
Could be orange oil? At a guess, Industrial degreaser/thinners can do it too but even more expensive and dangerous to your health. Most wax solvents in Australia are pretty nasty, you might hope O&E might use something natural????
Elbow grease and a dead credit card works well outside on a hot sunny day.
HMMM stay dry I'll go sniff a few bottles.
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
