I'm trying to find a story I read in a surf mag about 18 years ago. Sometime in the 80s, an aussie surfer goes straight from bar to beach to compete, after partying all night. He destroys his clean-living christian american opponent, even while vomiting out the back. Anyone have a link to the story, or even just the names of the surfers?
