long sleeve rashguard under wetsuit?

Postby TReMoR » Sun Jan 27, 2008 4:49 am

i have a springsuit..and i was wondering if i could wear my longsleeve rashguard underneath it.. because the rash guard has 1/2 mm neoprene.. or is that not a rash guard? but anyways apart from rash guard or not..,should i wear my long sleeve under my springsuit.. my main concern is that maybe the longsleeve will render the neoprene springsuit.. useless because it is 2 layers....

I used a long sleeve rash guard under my 4/3 wetsuit last week. I've never been so warm, however, in my case, it made the upper body portion of the suit noticeably snug and the muscles in my arms wore out long before they normally do. This may or may not happen to you. Plenty of people do just fine. Next time out, I am going to try a sleeveless rash guard to see if that works better.

I'm wearing a hooded longsleeve under a falling apart old winter suit and can easily do a 3 hour session without getting cold at the moment.

I don't wear long sleeve polos, so will give it free of charge to the first forum member who stakes a claim. The bag has been opened but the shirt has not been put on. It is XL size. :ninja:
