Postby eva » Wed Oct 17, 2007 6:16 pm

hi there,
i've got one question- I'm far away from nearest spot, working, studying. for this moment i cannot surf, but i'd like to stay fit and be prepared to catch a wave again. i train on the concept2- rowing machine. do you think it'll help to stay fit for surfing? has anybody ever tryed it? does it use the same muscles as surfing?
thanks and regards,
e.

not in the bath, you will do yourself a mischief

i think a rowing machine would be pretty good, just do excercise on a regular basis and you should be fine......

Hi Eva,

There have been lots and lots of posts about this, there is a search function in the top right of screen. Other than practice pop ups on dry land, swim, do yoga and just train for fitness in general by cross training.
