getting there mate... you'll be carving in no time... agree with uglystick, couple more strokes will get you a bit further down the face, and actually get you moving down the line sooner... (spoken like a true expert... only sussed it myself yestrday lol).

as for the left right thing.... couldn't go left for ages (regular) until one day after a really nice right a mate started shouting "nice wave!! but you must be sick of going right!!" down the line up... annoyed me enough that i just kept going left till i got it (even on left breaking waves... looked like complete goon but i got it!!)

Hahahaha I know exactly what you mean. Me and my mate used to always do that. But now we just make sure we film each other at one time of the day. Like if I go in the morning an he films, then ill film him in the afternoon. Also usualy at the end of maybe a 1 an a half hour surf. When I come home to put the footage on, I usualy only get 2 minutes or so of footage. So yeah that was footage taken over about 6 or 7 months.
