A goofy point break...and just my size!

Peru hosts some of the longest point break waves of the world. 1'500 miles of coastline – some of it still largely unexplored – and a window that welcomes swells form the north, west and the south alike. This should draw surfers but the contrary is the case: if you get lucky you might share a long lefthander for hours just with your buddies.

Yeah especially the guy holding the camera He is backside so that will make it more difficult but it's possible if he has some speed and does a quick speed turn or two or three right there he might make it through the section that is pitching over near the end of the view from the tube.

Ha, I was out in Batubolong got some nice ones, lefts and rights. It was big with 6-9ft faces according to MSW. It took a lot of time between the big sets so I took the risk to position inside with my 8'2. When I saw a big set coming I just took off on the first wave to get out of the way. My strategy was successful, this time

Only one thing, first wave of an Indonesian wave set , the rule is; DON'T wipe out, the next ones are destined the each be bigger and on your head! Gurgle, gurgle!
