Lombok/Bali - Board Rental/Transport

Hi,

In August I will be 3 weeks in Bali (4 days Kuta) and Lombok (5 days Senggigi, Rest Kuta). My question is if anyone of you know if there are "decent" boards rented in those places. In afirmative case if you could give me some advice/names of companies would be great.

Background: We are flying out from Madrid-Frankfurt-Singapore-Denpasar.
Iberia is charging me ONE WAY 260 (!!) Euro for the transport of my board. Total rip off. The rest is free of charge as good airlines (like Singapore) take sport equipment for free.

Iberia are a total rip-off with surfboards. Ive had problems with them!

DO NOT USE IBERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, if you go to Poppies 1 or 2 in Kuta, Bali you'll see loads of shops to rent boards.

Unfortunately I got my ticket already. It was they only valid flight connection.

Thanks for the hint with Poppies. Any idea regarding Lombok?

Just rent a board in Kuta, Bali and take it to Lombok......they wont know, and you'll be leaving a deposit anyway
