Queenie & Billie Morini

Postby billie_morini » Tue Nov 12, 2024 5:32 pm

Billie has a new Rhodesian Ridgeback adventure buddy. Billie's beloved Roxy Ridgeback, who many forum members are familiar with has passed on. Mrs. Morini brought Queenie Ridgeback home at 8 weeks about 1.5 years ago. Queenie is now old enough to join Billie in his continued adventures in the Gaviota Coast and Mountains.

Here are a couple of fotos. One shows Queenie overlooking a secret surf break used by locals and visiting surfing dignitaries (No surf day). Another shows Queenie surveying the rocky mountain peak we ultimately scaled.

So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Ol' Man: it's very nice to see Hudzley. Is he less wild now? Does he follow your commands well now?

I am working on his training but not too seriously LOL. He was crate trained but since I retired he has decided he knows that I am going somewhere and prefers to not get in his cage at that time so I have had to force him. So now I make him get in his crate for a treat and get in it even when we are leaving and taking him with us just to make him less sure of when we aren't going to take him with us
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Great to hear about Hudzley, Ol' Man. Pleased to hear you've retired. Hopefully, there is at least one other veterinarian on Kauai. Otherwise, there may be no one too care for critters.
