Suggestion for 1-2 months Work & Surf

Hi!

I would like to go away 1-2 months to a warm place with good surf (im a beginner surfer though so looking for friendly beach breaks). I meanwhile want to work (im working from my laptop) so i need a place i can do this (dont need an completely own office though), and maybe with a private sleeping/accommodation. The standard should be good, and the Wifi should of course also be good. Still, a nice place where i can meet a lot of other cool people:)

I guess you can find this easily when you search, but im looking for more "work & surf" packages for 1-2 months where i can find it for a reasonable price (rent €1-1,500 / a month) (If i just book the ordinary packages of like 7 days, it will be to expensive..)

Seems like you could go anywhere where you could get a visa and where there are waves. I kniw that there are surfcamps here that offer housing and group surfing supervised by a fee guides. Maybe thats the kind of package you’re after? Alternatively you could rent a room in the canggu area and surf there then hit the cafes, restos and bars the rest of the day like so many others do.

Yea, i think i would looking for something like that. I would need an quite space though so i get work done, but if i hire my own apartment for the period close to the surf i can work from there. Or perhaps a bit more social, hire a big house together with some other surfers (with good wifi:).

Portugal are introducing a digital nomad visa, no idea if it helps you but portugal is an incredible surf destination with sheltered options for beginners such as yourself, woth looking into however most places you should be fine with the normal visa or maybe just need an extension but probaly not much of an issue. When do you plan to go work and surf though, because you dont want to stay somewhere sheltered in the off season because you cant surf, or somewhere exposed during the surf season as it will be too big?
